Netherlands 5 guilders banknote 1973 in uncirculated condition (UNC). The Netherlandsche Bank issued Dutch Guilder banknotes in 11 different denominations commencing in 1973. They were withdrawn from circulation in 2002. The obverse depicting Joost van den Vondel (1587-1679) at centre-right. The reverse  depicting a stylized house in dark green and green on multicolor underprint. Joost van den Vondel was a Dutch playwright,  poet, literary translator and writer. He is generally regarded as the greatest writer in the Kutch language as well as an important figure in the history of Westerb kuterature.
